ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, 27 January 2010 – SolveIT Software Pty Ltd, a leading provider of enterprise software, announced today that it has signed a contract with Ride On! Entertainment for the deployment of an enterprise-wide system for demand planning and asset scheduling optimisation.

Headquartered in South Australia, Ride On! SolveIT Software will deploy its Demand Planner application to forecast demand across all locations and asset types operated by Ride On! Entertainment. The system will use historical demand, seasonal patterns, location constraints, asset attributes, and other external factors (such as school holidays and events) to forecast demand and recommend optimal asset transfer schedules.

“We are excited to be working with the optimisation and predictive modelling experts from SolveIT Software and look forward to going live with the system,” said Ian Sargent, Managing Director of Ride On! Entertainment. “We believe that SolveIT Software’s Demand Planner will drive a number of benefits, including accurate asset demand forecasts by location and asset type, improved consistency and management of the asset scheduling process, and better reporting and visibility of corporate key performance indicators.”

The project follows a scoping study conducted jointly by staff of SolveIT Software and Ride On! Entertainment, involving site visits and a review of current business processes and systems. Possible expansions of the SolveIT Software application for Ride On! Entertainment includes capital expenditure what-if modelling, and expanded financial reporting.
