The i.on my annual conference has kicked off and is showing that aged care and web 2.0 go hand in hand.

Relative newcomers to the aged care industry, ThoughtWare (proud developer of the i.on my solutions) has taken advantage of web 2.0 capabilities and opened what is believed to be Australia’s’ first Aged Care Virtual Conference.

From virtual guides Juliet and Tom through to a virtual relax and chill out room, conference delegates get to experience the expected keynote presenters, client presentations, expert hints and tips, plus conference give aways and freebies, all at a time that suits their busy aged care schedules.

Within the first 48 hours more than 350 views of the PRINCE2 Project Management presentation and almost 250 views of the IT Governance, Risk Management presentation were tallied up.

The conference officially opened Thursday 19 November and closes Wednesday 9 December. Conference home page is: http://www.ionmy.com.au/conference09/index.aspx
