MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - 24/07/2012 - DIB Australia and one of Melbourne's private schools have worked together to solve the problem of interactive whiteboards for younger age groups. Traditional solutions have been too far off the ground, and not as responsive to the needs of a younger audience. The iJunior is the perfect way to bridge the gap.

The technical side of the iJunior, the product has a large (55”) full High-Definition multi touch display. It's designed to reduce parallax errors making it simple for young eyes to work out how their movements affect the display. It's all based on touch screen technology so it's easy for children to master. There's no need for any drivers to be installed (as long as the school is running Windows). You'll also find an integrated stereo sound system, to add more excitement to the learning experience than ever before.

From an ergonomic standpoint the iJunior delivers the goods for the space conscious classroom. There's a magnetic traditional whiteboard on the reverse side, which means that both boards can be in action at once. You can easily accommodate books and other objects on the easel attached, which also has clips to hold posters or large pieces of paper. You'll find adjustable shelving, and dual draws with draw tidy's too. It's lower than traditional interactive whiteboards, but not so low that teachers struggle to use it. It takes up very little space when it's not needed and can be rolled easily into position on large heavy duty castor wheels, which are easily lockable.

What makes the iJunior different from the competition? It's the first product developed by primary teachers for primary teachers. It's a fully integrated and safe-to-use interactive whiteboard, and not just an interactive monitor on a stand.
