Complete Site Services are delighted to announce that they have been awarded through Decmil the Wheatstone Project’s fly camp, a contract valued at more than $30M.

This announcement marks a major win not only for the Complete Group itself, but for the state of WA, with the company warding off Eastern states and Chinese competition to ensure that contract benefits flow onto WA workers and the WA economy overall.

The contract involves the manufacture of a 502-person village in the Pilbara including accommodation, commercial kitchen, wet mess, laundries and other supporting buildings. Since the initial award, Decmil, through its clients Bechtel and Chevron, have increased the order for a further 456 persons, which values the contract well in excess of $30M.

“We are very pleased that the project was awarded to a WA company, as originally the rumours were that it was headed to China,” said Emanuel Dillon of Complete Site Services.

“It proves that companies are beginning to acknowledge the added value with respect to quality and safety that comes with purchasing products manufactured in Western Australia by Western Australians.”

Wheatstone Project LNG is a Chevron-owned asset. “We are proud to be in a position to be working for large scale projects and multinational companies like Chevron, as well as further developing our strong working relationship with Decmil,” said Emanuel Dillon.

“It truly is a credit to these companies that their commitment to proven systems, quality assurance and safety, as well as a willingness to get things done ensures we continue to be rewarded such significant contracts.”
