Australia’s industry leaders will come together this month to celebrate innovation at Tech23.

Taking place on Tuesday 27th October in Sydney, Tech23, created by Slattery IT, will bring together expertise and innovation as industry leaders meet with the nation’s best and brightest ICT innovators.

Tech23 features industry experts including New Zealand’s serial entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Xero, Rod Drury, whose key investor is Craig Winkler of MYOB fame. Australian inventor Ric Richardson, the founder of Uniloc who won and subsequently lost a multimillion dollar patent infringement case against Microsoft, will also take part in Tech23, amidst a host of other industry experts and innovative up-and-coming companies.

Attendees at Tech23 will also have the opportunity to hear from Bill Bartee, who has founded three successful start-ups and whose recent investments include Liaise and Xumii, as well as Google Australia’s Engineering Director Alan Noble, and Brand Hoff, the founder of TOWER Software which was sold to Hewlett Packard in May 2008.

For event organiser Rachel Slattery, “Tech23 offers a chance for a mix of investors, customers, mentors, advisors and partners to engage with each other. It gives young and innovative Australian companies many opportunities and provides a forum for our top industry leaders to engage with our up-and-coming innovators.”

Tech23 will provide an opportunity for networking, discovering opportunities that exist in certain market segments, and making Australian innovation happen.

Tech23 is sponsored by Industry and Investment NSW and the Australian Technology Showcase (ATS).
