The leading business magazine for the construction industry in Australia, The Official Australian Construction Magazine, has today reported an increase of 31% in circulation figures.

The glossy magazine has been at the forefront of the construction industry in Australia for many years, but it has been difficult to find a reason for the sudden increase in its readers, according to a spokesperson from the title.

“When we did a count of early circulation figures for 2012, we noticed a jump of nearly a third from mid-2011 in terms of hard copy magazine distribution, although it was difficult to put a finger on the exact reason for the rise”, was the comment from the magazine.

“There has been a strong influx of readers based at the higher end of management, despite The Official Australian Construction Magazine being aimed predominantly at Project Managers, Construction/Operations Managers and Contracts Managers.

“As many readers will be aware, the magazine has a high class, professional look, but in 2011, we started writing a lot more articles aimed at senior management, which may well be the reason for the recent jump in readers from Director level.”
