KI Trek for Kickin4Kids: Kangaroo Island focus for kids' fundraiser

The KI Trek event committee are excited at the amount of support that they have already received by local businesses and individuals to make the KI Trek and Ball successful in raising funds for Variety. Kickin4Kids is a program of Variety conducting a range of annual activities that raise funds to help children in need gain mobility and independence.
“After seeing the heartfelt results of our fundraising last year, and knowing the challenges Variety will face this year, we couldn’t resist lending a hand,” George said. “With the utmost faith in the community of SA, we are striving to not only reach our commitment of raising $10,000 each, but to exceed this amount. What a good news story this would be!”
The team will undertake a grueling week of trekking, kayaking and swimming around Kangaroo Island. There is 500km of coastline surrounding Australia’s 3rd largest island so it should be interesting! Each participant needs to raise a minimum of $10,000.
