Ink Pot Arts Inc is thrilled to announce they are putting on two shows during the Adelaide Fringe 2012 and a pre-festival ‘Fringe Unplugged’ event in their own Creative Hub. Our shows see us partnering with Imbala Jarjum and Trees for Life and feature emerging artist Callan Fleming (dancer/choreographer from AC Arts) and guest actor Tamara Lee (winner of Adelaide Critics Circle award 2011) as well as mixed media and striking visual imagery.

Fringe Unplugged – Ink Pot Arts Creative Hub (Upstairs in the Mt Barker Town Hall)

Come along and get yourself excited at ‘Fringe Unplugged’ in our Creative Hub with some tasters of Fringe artists! These intimate, monthly variety nights are always filled with something different and exciting. This month is hosted by the talented crew from Amuse Bouche (Neverender Productions) featuring performances by Anya Anastasia (Bird Wizdom), Bintango (Cheese Factory) and Angus Hodge (Adelaide Comedy).
Liquor Licensed event.

Ophelia’s Shadow Theatre – Living Arts Centre
25th & 26th of February Living Arts Centre, Mt Barker Waldorf School
‘Ophelia’s Shadow Theatre’ by celebrated author Michael Ende (who wrote ‘The Neverending Story’) takes the audience into a world of shadows, Shakespeare and mysterious happenings. Ink Pot Arts’ lyrical mixed-media production offers a glimpse into loss and finding, and dreams and realities in their many forms.
Suitable for 10 year olds and over.

The Lorax – A Musical for the Whole Family - Living Arts Centre
2nd, 3rd & 9th of March Living Arts Centre, Mt Barker Waldorf School

Following a sell-out season in September 2011, Ink Pot Arts shares this much-loved eco story by Dr Seuss with an Australian twist. The adaptation is set in the Adelaide Hills featuring local indigenous flora and fauna, with costumes by textile artist Cathy Sarles. Presented in partnership with Imbala Jarjum and Trees For Life, with catchy songs by Gillian Britton, come prepared to be inspired to make a difference!
