Sydney, September 18 2009 – Samsung’s Tap & Take social media campaign launched via Facebook, YouTube and Twitter provides the ideal platform for fans and followers to virtually interact with and experience the newly launched dual LCD screen ST550 and ST500 compact digital cameras.

The dedicated Tap & Take website ( provides useful product information and offers insight into the latest technologies in the world of digital imaging. Facebook fans and Twitter followers can further engage with the new cameras by submitting comments or responding to Samsung’s questions to win the new ST550 and ST500 cameras and other great prizes. The competition will end on October 1 2009.

Tap & Take acquired its name through the unique tap feature of the new Samsung ST550 and ST500 models whereby you simply tap the touch-screen display to take a photo. The cameras also feature dual LCD screens so you can easily take snaps whether you’re behind the camera or perfecting a self-portrait from in front of the camera.
