ChildFund Australia is on the hunt for 20 cycling enthusiasts to take part in an unforgettable bike adventure through Laos and Cambodia.

The Laos Water Cycle will take place in November 2012, raising money to provide much-needed water tanks and toilets for communities in northern Laos.

On this adventure, you will discover Laos and Cambodia by bicycle, meet welcoming locals and uncover many hidden gems, including the stunning monasteries of Luang Prabang, the war-ravaged landscapes near the mysterious Plain of Jars and the spectacular temples of Angkor Wat. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about development issues in Laos and visit the communities that ChildFund supports.

ChildFund works in 11 rural communities in the north of Laos where 75% of households have little or no access to clean drinking water. By joining the Laos Water Cycle you will be helping to provide vulnerable children and families with the essentials for a healthy life.

Participants must fundraise $3,650 for ChildFund Australia, plus cover their travel costs. Together the money raised will provide three water tanks and approximately 200 household toilets, which could help save the lives of thousands of children.

This once-in-a-lifetime adventure will be a rewarding experience for participants and brighten the futures of many disadvantaged children and communities in Laos. Spaces are limited, so register today!
