Opengear has announced a new distribution agreement with to extend its market reach across Europe. Opengear will strengthen the portfolio with a range of secure infrastructure management appliances with a focus on IM4200, CM4000 and ACM5000 models.

According to new research from analyst firm The 451 Group, the market for Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) is predicted to grow by around 40 percent a year between now and 2015. The market in 2011 is expected to reach $323 million and the analyst feels it will quadruple by 2015 to reach $1.27 billion. The analyst estimates are based on a survey and financial data from 30 key DCIM suppliers.
