Sporting clubs throughout Australia are now able to access donated Microsoft products due to recent changes made to their software donations program.

The Microsoft Software Donation Program is facilitated by Connecting Up as part of DonorTec, their technology donation and discount program. Through DonorTec, Australian nonprofits and charities have accessed over $120 million worth of Microsoft software donations. These changes give nonprofit amateur sport and recreational organisations access to these same benefits.

In addition, Microsoft has expanded the number of different Microsoft software products available, and how often they can be requested, allowing sporting clubs to get the technology they need, when they need it.

“Microsoft understand the valuable contribution sporting organisations make in today’s society.” said Paul Clark, Citizenship Manager at Microsoft. “Making technology more accessible enables sporting organisations to increase their productivity, reach more people and deliver new, improved services which directly help local communities.”

“Our team is extremely pleased that sporting organisations are now eligible for our most popular program, the Microsoft donation program. We believe Australia’s nonprofit sporting organisations can benefit greatly from access to this technology,” said Connecting Up CEO Doug Jacquier.
