Investor Showcase features 10 of Australia’s leading Technology, Cleantech, internet, Finance and Healthcare companies

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - Wholesale Investor, Australia’s leading private investment platform, will host the Emerging Company and Commercialisation Showcase 2011 in Sydney on Monday September 19.

Presented in association with principal support partners and Commercialisation Australia, PwC and GEON Communication, the Showcase will provide up to 200 high net worth and professional investors with the opportunity to gain direct access to 10 Private and ASX Listed companies in one afternoon.

Many private and small cap ASX listed companies struggle for visibility with the focus of financial markets and the media concentrated on the ASX 300 and larger private companies. The Showcase is about placing a spotlight on the companies of the future and the CEOs who lead them.

“Capital and networks are vital to Small Cap companies," says Steve Torso, Wholesale Investor's Managing Director.

"We are proud to be showcasing 10 of Australia’s most innovative and diverse companies to investors, fund managers and brokers. The event provides them with a rare opportunity to speak directly with the CEO, and gain information straight from the source.”

Special Guest Speaker – James Spenceley, Vocus Communication

Nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010, James has spearheaded the stunning launch and growth of Vocus Communications from a start up in 2008, to an IPO in 2010, to a company with a $100 million market cap in 2011.
