TAKE a step up next time you’re at Cicerello’s Fremantle or Mandurah and explore the Upper Deck area.

Giving majestic views of Fishing Boat Harbour and the Mandurah estuary, the Upper Deck has become increasing popular as a function venue – something Cicerello’s owner Henry Liascos puts down to the old adage about “location, location, location” ringing true.

“What we’ve always aimed to do at Cicerello’s is provide a variety of choices,” he said. “You can stop by for fish and chips, a wine tasting, indulge in a gourmet platter for two or go on one of our school tours.

“People love the Upper Deck as a function venue because of our relaxed vibe and the great view, whether it’s a 40th birthday, cocktail sundowner, children’s birthday, work function, engagement party or even a corporate launch.

“The area has its own bar and there’s plenty of catering choices from the Cicerello’s menu, including swordfish kebabs, thai fish cakes and oven-baked barramundi right through to salt and pepper squid and crumbed Fremantle sardines.”

Cicerello’s Upper Deck has cocktail menus, set menus and finger food menus, a range of fine wines and beers and can hold 120 people for stand-up events and 50 for sit-down menus.

“We also have a special licence that allows people to enjoy a drink without a meal when we open the Upper Deck from midday Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays,” Mr Liascos said. “It’s a great place to have a quiet drink and enjoy the view.”
