BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND, 25 July 2011 – SolveIT Software Pty Ltd, a leading provider of enterprise software for supply & demand optimisation and predictive modelling, announced today that it has opened a new office in Brisbane located at Level 5, 100 Eagle Street in Brisbane’s CBD district.

SolveIT Software’s Brisbane operation will be led by James Balzary, Director of Resources and Stuart Horton, Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst.

"The opening of the Brisbane Office represents a commitment to our clients in central and north eastern Australia. Our expansion plans including this new Brisbane office and the upcoming opening of the Perth office reflect our growth strategy and build upon successful sales to new clients in complex vertically integrated supply chain organisations such as BHP Billiton Iron Ore, BMA Coal and Xstrata Copper,” said James Balzary.

James is a qualified geologist with over 15 years experience in multi-commodity mining production environments and enterprise business development roles. Prior to joining SolveIT Software, James was the Asia Pacific Director of Mining Sales for Mincom, a global leading provider of solutions to asset intensive business with a strong focus in resources. Before that, James managed Asia Pacific for Gemcom Software, growing direct and indirect sales throughout the region. James has a strong focus on sales, consulting and marketing strategy coupled with hands on operations experience.

Stuart is a supply chain professional who has worked and managed supply chains for the past 10 years. Stuart's industry experience includes sea freight, air freight, manufacturing, contract electronics and clean energy. Stuart’s most recent positions include Supply Chain Manager for Arvato Digital services, Global Supply Chain Manager for Blue Ant Wireless and State Manager (QLD) for Quantum Energy Technologies. He has also completed his Masters of Business (Executive) at RMIT.

Brisbane-based customers of SolveIT Software include Xstrata Copper, Xstrata Zinc, BMA – BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance, Dulux Group, Rio Tinto Coal Australia and Incitec Pivot.
