BDO are proud to announce a number of promotions.

Greg Wiese has been appointed Managing Partner of the South Australian firm.

Greg led the Audit team at BDO for many years, before developing the BDO Corporate Finance specialisation, and is firmly committed to building on BDO’s leadership in South Australia, engagement with clients and the South Australian community.

BDO are also pleased to announce that Kishen Vijayadass has been appointed Partner in the Tax & Advisory division. Kishen is BDO’s state lead Partner for the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector and a sought after advisor to growing businesses.

Michael Haydon has been appointed Associate Director in the Audit division. Michael is BDO’s state lead in the Mining sector and has extensive experience working with Not-For-Profit and private organisations.

Current Managing Partner, Russell Heywood – Smith will move to a consulting role with BDO SA.

“Throughout my 15 years as Managing Partner, I have been proud to lead our team,” said Mr Heywood-Smith.
“We have grown in experience, size and expertise and I know that I am handing over the reins of a very competent and capable workforce.”

The promotions are testament to the commitment of BDO to growing and developing internal capability and are effective as from 1 July 2011.
