Search marketing leader e-Channel today announced the appointment of another key senior executive as the company grows to meet increasing demand for strategic search engine marketing. The former Director of Search at Universal McCann, Johnny Kairouz, has been appointed Director of Search, heading up e-Channel’s Agency Management division.
The announcement follows on last month’s appointment of industry veteran Guy Wayland as Head of Search.
e-Channel’s General Manager, Grant Goodall, said, “Johnny is a great addition to the national leadership team located in Sydney. Having worked in online marketing for over 10 years specialising in search marketing for seven years, Mr Kairouz works both with agencies and directly with clients to position search as a key component of implementing better marketing and advertising strategies within businesses.
At Universal McCann, he helped companies including Microsoft, the Australian Federal Government, Cathay Pacific, AMP and MasterCard to adopt search marketing strategies, both as standalone campaign drivers and within complex media schedules.
