The offer will provide purchasers with their rent paid to the value of $10,000 while they build. The offer is available on all titled homesites at Ellenbrook so people can buy now and commence building their new home straight away.
Mr Danny Murphy, Managing Director for LWP Property Group, Ellenbrook’s development manager, said the offer was designed to address a key hurdle for many purchasers.
“We have found that many people would love to build their own brand new home, but the concept of having to pay rent whilst building often makes it financially challenging. We wanted to remove that barrier for them, so that the process of building is as stress free as possible,” he said.
There is a wide choice of titled homesites available as part of the offer, ranging in size from 360sqm – 645sqm and priced from $195,000 - $263,000. House and Land packages start from just $339,000.
“Most of the homesites available are located in Stages 14 and 15 of Ellenbrook’s 6th village - Malvern Springs,” Mr Murphy said.
These stages are ideally situated adjacent to retained bushland, with a park scheduled to be built in Stage 14 as well.
“They are also just metres from the new primary school, due to open at the start of the 2012 year,” he added.
Malvern Springs’ village centre is already well established, with parks and open spaces for local residents to enjoy. An innovative new play space, featuring play equipment made from sculptured timber is also nearby.
A new community hall will be handed over for public use in September with a future childcare site next door.
“The area is a beautiful place for people of all stages of life to enjoy, but we know it is an area particularly attractive to new families, with great outdoor spaces and links to the nearby bushland, cycleways and facilities to meet the needs of an active family,” Mr Murphy said.
All available homesites are also within minutes of Ellenbrook’s recently expanded Town Centre.
“The last few months at Ellenbrook have been particularly exciting, with the grand opening of Stage 2 of The Shops at Ellenbrook in mid March; which now includes one of the state’s largest Big W outlets as well as Coles, Woolworths, Dick Smith and a further 60 new speciality stores,” Mr Murphy explained.
The Brook Tavern opened late last year and Stage 1 of the Ellenbrook Apartments is due for completion at the start of July – both are also situated in the Town Centre.
“It is exciting to see such a broad range of retail options and amenities available to local residents to enjoy,” he said.
The ‘build rent free’ offer is available on titled homesites purchased between 14th May to 30th June 2011. Purchasers will be provided with a $10,000 pre-paid VISA card to assist them in paying their rent for a year.
“When we looked at the easiest way of helping people to pay their rent for a year, we concluded that providing them with a pre-paid VISA card was going to be the best way. People can then use the money to pay their landlord or rental agency via eftpos, cash or whichever way they normally pay,” Mr Murphy added.
