Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 - DJM Training Support Solutions

During the week of 16 May through 21 May 2011, Virtual Assistants (VAs) and other virtual business operators and online entrepreneurs from countries all over the world, in conjunction with the industry’s 6th annual online convention, will host the 1st Annual Global Virtual Assistants Week.

Global Virtual Assistants Week was created to celebrate the VA industry's inventive ways to market effectively, to educate local business owners about the benefits of working with Virtual Assistants and to meet individuals investigating the possibility of entering the Virtual Assistant industry.

In celebration of Global Virtual Assistants Week, professional Virtual Assistants will host a series of live local events such as meetups, lunches and networking, share small business marketing tips with newbies, established VAs and inquiring minds and showcase the benefits of working with Virtual Assistants and how they decrease stress and workload from a cost-effective standpoint.

In Adelaide on Wednesday 18th May, the SA Virtual Assistant Network will hold a luncheon at Cafe Fellini, located at 102 O'Connell Street, North Adelaide, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. All Virtual Assistants and other virtual business operators and online entrepreneurs across Adelaide are invited as well as other SA businesses who have an online presence. RSVPs are currently being accepted via the official SA VA Network Facebook Page at or via LinkedIn at

Global Week will culminate with the annual Online International Virtual Assistants Convention (OIVAC) from Thursday May 19 through Saturday May 21, where VAs from around the globe come together for seminars, training, networking and more. Incorporated into the Convention is the International Virtual Assistants Day (IVAD) Celebration which is held on the Saturday morning, 21 May, at 6:30 am ACST. The IVAD celebrations are one of the many free sessions at OIVAC and open to all.
