Plumbing organisations in several countries accross the world have made plans to mark this day in the hope that they can draw attention to the important role in which plumbing plays in relation to both public health and the environment.

Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association are supporting World Plumbing Day.
The plumbing industry has been invited to join the MPGA for a BBQ breakfast across the Perth metropolitan area
between 7am – 9am on Friday 11 March 2011

All monies raised will be donated to the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund to go towards the Perth Hills Fire Appeal and the Gascoyne & Mid West Floods Appeal. As a further show of support the MPGA will match the donations $ for $ (up to $3000).
