Exploring Adelaide Fringe’s 121 visual arts exhibitions is easy when you have the right starting point.

Adelaide Fringe has brought together artists from across the festival’s visual arts program to present stARTing Point, a collective exhibition featuring everything from painting to mixed media, street art, textiles, printmaking, sculpture, digital media, craft, photography, installations and jewellery.

Emerging and established artists have each contributed one piece of work to make navigating the visual arts program easy. For example, Victorian artist Georgina Humphries has added a two-metre tall lamp post rendered with fabric in an intervention that transforms everyday street architecture into a lively three-dimensional drawing; Studio Potters have taken a spirited clay work rhinoceros out of the fire; and Kym Robertson explores the beauty of fire and the elegance of glass in vibrant photography.

The exhibition is proudly presented with the support of Fisher Jeffries Barristers and Solicitors. Managing Partner Karen Thomas said the firm was delighted to continue its association with Adelaide Fringe.

“stARTing Point is the best way to explore the Adelaide Fringe visual arts program, providing a sample of the many exhibitions on offer,” Thomas said. “We’ve been part of this exhibition for three years and as always look forward to experiencing the work of artists from around Australia and the world.”
