Monday, February 14th, 2011 - Manufacturing Focus
At a time when local manufacturers are under huge pressure to “do more with less”, Adelaide engineering consultancy Manufacturing Focus has invited Lewis Trigger, the world’s foremost expert in Constraint Management, to conduct a public workshop this Friday, February 18, at AIM SA, 180 Port Road, Hindmarsh.

An Australian now living in Israel, Mr Trigger advises and teaches fast growth businesses and corporate, military, high-tech and defence organisations around the world about the Theory of Constraints (ToC).

Manufacturing Focus director Mark Fusco says the workshop represents a coup for Adelaide, as the only open workshop Mr Trigger will conduct on this visit to Australia.

“As competition becomes ever fiercer, we are under greater pressure to overcome the bottlenecks that add costs and time to projects,” Mr Fusco says. “Lewis Trigger teaches managers to understand their constraints to maximise business potential. The result is consistently improved results from the resources you already have.

“After all, constraints are what ultimately control the output of your business.”

Mr Trigger says that constraint management is the key to:
  • Meeting due dates
  • Improving quality
  • Lowering inventory
  • Decreasing lead time
  • Effectively utilising resources
  • Replacing chaos with calm
  • Improving workplace satisfaction
  • Improving the bottom line results: profits and service
Date: Friday 18th February 2011
Time: 8:15am—4:15pm
Conact: Phone Kosette Lambert (08) 7120 9400

Who should attend?
Senior and middle-level executives who want to understand how the Theory of Constraints can assist them to enhance their strategic insight, identify the constraints in their organisation's key processes and to improve system performance without incurring additional costs.
