Monday, February 7th, 2011 - Wealth Zone Education
A financial information evening being held in Adelaide this Thursday is designed to give potential investors a look at the skills used by successful traders and stock market investors.

Run by Wealth Zone Education, the event will be addressed by recognised investment mentor George Fokas, who will look at the three general areas people consider when investing for the future – the stock market, property and creating a business. He will explain the reasons for all three and why property is a sound but often expensive investment choice.

“Some of us utilise all three, while the majority never go beyond property,” Fokas says.”Whichever you choose depends on what you are comfortable with, interested in and competent with.

“When you invest in property you traditionally need a substantial sum as a deposit to get you started and you borrow the rest, most commonly geared negative which means you need to take more out of your pocket to make up the difference each month.

Wealth Zone Education principal Xenia Ioannou describes hearing Fokas discuss finance and investment is a rare opportunity at a time when there is so much misinformation.

“I wish I’d had the chance to attend this sort of information evening when I was starting out in investment,” she says. “It would have made things a lot easier and helped me avoid a few of the mistakes we all make along the way.”

The information evening featuring Global Wealth mentor George Fokas will be held at the Adelaide Royal Coach, 24 Dequetteville Terrace, Kent Town, from 6.30pm this Thursday (February 10).
