Friday, January 9th, 2009 - PD Retreats Australia

Coaches, managers and anyone who wants to incorporate personal assessments and profiling in their workplace or practice can now become accredited in Extended DISC ® while taking part in the most extensive Professional Development conference offered in Australia.

The training will be conducted by experienced Extended DISC Accreditor Sharon Hudson, Management Psychologist with Talent Tools, at the Professional Development (PD) Retreat in Hobart (26 to 28 February).

Says Hudson: "Extended DISC is not your usual DISC profiling or psychometric test. It divides into 160 different personal behavioural styles, has 10 separate but integrated tools in the system, and was developed specifically for the workplace. This is a very robust and highly validated instrument, simple to administer and interpret, but it's not a toy!"

Those who complete the full day of training at the Professional Development Retreat will not only receive an Accredited Extended DISC Practitioner Certificate, but will add a new revenue stream to their business and enhance their professional credibility.

“Using Extended DISC ® has been a fantastic way to accelerate the rapport and credibility building process with my new clients and has enhanced my professional image as a coach," says Mark Coburn, Business Coach and Trainer with SuperSelf Success Coaching in Brisbane.E

"Extended DISC ® is now an integral part of our coaching system as it helps our clients to rapidly increase their awareness about themselves, providing a comprehensive point of reference throughout the coaching process.”

This is the first time Extended DISC Accreditation training has been offered in Tasmania. Becoming an Extended DISC practitioner is recommended for training and development staff, internal and external human resource consultants, life, business and executive coaches, mentors and mediators, supervisors and managers, and sales consultants and trainers.

Delegates can register just for that day of the conference and become accredited. This training does have a materials fee of $220 - this covers your own Extended DISC Personal Analysis (valued at $175) and Accredited Practitioner materials (valued over $500).

Or you can register for the full conference, and become accredited in Extended DISC on the Friday.

Attending the PD Retreat represents the greatest value option for becoming an Accredited Extended DISC Practitioner. This week you can register for the full 3 day event for just $770 + materials fee for the Extended DISC training - the total cost is less than the usual price of the Extended DISC Training!
