The 2nd Indonesia Mining 2010 conference is set to see scores of leading figures from the industry descend on Bali next month.
Scheduled to take place on December 8th and 9th in Nusa Dua, the event is designed to give stakeholders an insight into the best strategies for companies to employ if they are keen to succeed in the south-east Asian nation.
The importance of gaining up-to-date information on mining in Indonesia has been highlighted by newspaper the Australian, which described it as "highly prospective".
However, the report cautioned: "It can also be a difficult country to work in, leading some investors to shy away from the country."
According to the organisers, a wide array of industry representatives will be present at the conference, including the chief executives, managing directors and heads of various exploration, commercial banking and legal firms.
The opening day of the event will involve a keynote speech from executive director of the Indonesia Mining Association Priyo Pribadi Soemarno, while the final day will see Vincent Poizat from ING Bank discuss putting mining investments into context.
Prospective attendees can pick up tickets for the conference for $2,195 (£1,360), which includes lunch, refreshments and documentation.
