With elements of Cajun zydeco meets sun records, the interesting sounds of David’s “upside down” guitar playing accompanied by a warmly familiar voice, “The Tale” is trademark Cosma from start to finish.

With this latest recording, David has teamed up again with Nashville based
producer Rob Feaster, along with a host of well-known Australian musicians including Jonathan Zion, John Beddgood, Damon Smith and Reuben Alexander.

David’s live show has proved popular with many performances both locally and interstate, including the St. Kilda Festival, Caloundra Music Festival and the International Arts Festival to name a few.

David Cosma

For David Cosma, an affiliation with music began at a very early age. Obsessed with the music of the 50's and 60's, he was lured into holding his guitar left handed, like his childhood idol Paul McCartney. The only problem was that it wasn't a left handed bass, rather a right handed guitar! He persisted with this unorthodox method of guitar playing, which has developed into his trademark sound, his guitar and vocal at the forefront of his songs. From the age of 16, he formed bands and played live regularly, gaining experience around the Melbourne music scene, in pubs and clubs.

2007 was a turning point for the Melbourne songwriter. David made the decision to leave his full-time job and focus solely on his music and many months, a home studio and an album worth of songs later, the idea of Hanging From Aldo and a debut album were born....

Late 2010 see the release of David's new EP entitled "The Tale". which will be celebrated with a gig at Pure Pop Records on November 27th at 3pm.
