The third Test of the 2010-11 Ashes series will take place in Perth next month.
Cricket fans will descend on Western Australia en masse midway through next month for the Perth Ashes Test.
The third five-dayer in the 2010-11 series between Australia and England will take place at the WACA Ground between December 16th and 20th, following the opening two fixtures in Brisbane and Adelaide.
While Perth has traditionally proven to be a stronghold of Australian cricket with the Poms often fearing the trip out west, Andrew Strauss's side may go into the third Test with a little more confidence after their recent tour victory over the Retravision Warriors at the ground.
The tourists put on an impressive display to dismiss the home side for 223 in the second innings of the three-day contest and reached their target of 243 runs within 48 overs to post a six-wicket win.
Captain Strauss will have been particularly satisfied with his unbeaten knock of 120 from 141 deliveries, while the previously out-of-form Kevin Pietersen managed to notch 50 in the first innings.
Despite all this English confidence, patriotic Aussies are likely to be as sure as ever that Ricky Ponting's team can pick up the victory.
Public gates at the WACA Ground will be open from 09:00 local time on each day of the Test, with play set to commence at 10:30.
