To celebrate the 21st year of Pride, Connections Nightclub and PrideWA are proud to present, Neon Ballroom: The Official Pride Afterparty.

Each year the Pride party brings together the community to celebrate the end of the festival. The party will take place immediately after the Pride Parade on Saturday 30th October.

The event will be spread across four different party spaces including the main room of Connections Nightclub, The Terrace Bar, The Garden downstairs and an all new transformed Neon Wonderland dance space in the old Plaka building. Set up will include four bars, two dancefloors, two stages for performance and DJ’s, and two open air smoking areas.

PrideWA Media Liaison Mark Hamer says "if your looking for that Warehouse Party theme, then this is it. We are all looking forward to the parade and party. Hurry now and secure your tickets otherwise you will miss out".

Toni Flanagan Connections Nightclub said "This year there will be three guests (one international, two interstate), as well as three drag productions, and one live performance from Perth’s best gay entertainers".

Therese (EUR): Therese is the Queen of House music, having topped music charts all around the globe. Most renowned for her work on Stonebridge’s mega hit “Put ‘em High”, her popular vocals can be heard wrapped around the drums and synths of the best DJ sets across nightclubs worldwide. Therese has performed crowds at various Pride's festivals around the globe, including Sydney Mardi Gras (2006), and London Gay Pride (2008).

Kitty Glitter (SYD): Kitty Glitter is rapidly becoming one of the most popular gay entertainers Australia has to offer. Over the last year she has been on a worldwind global tour which saw her headline Toronto Pride, Fire Island and various hot New York nightclubs. Topping off her year of success Kitty was recently awarded “BEST DJ” in the 2010 DIVA AWARDS, and was nominated for ITM’s Top 50.

Sam La More (SYD): Sam La More is currently one of Australias most promising electro producers having been instrumental in launching and boosting the careers of various prominent artists including Empire of The Sun, Gwen Stefani, Pnau and Sneaky Sound System. In 2007 he, co-wrote The Potbellez hit "Don't Hold Back" and helped to produce Pnau's self titled album featuring the smash hit "Embrace". La More is signed to MINISTRY OF SOUND and has sold thousands of compilations worldwide in their "CLUBBERS GUIDE" series.

As ‘Neon Ballroom’ is the official Pride after party, part proceeds for the event will be donated directly to PrideWA to ensure the success of future Pride festivals.
