Halifax Vogel Group (HVG) has further strengthened its Victorian sales team with the appointment of Con Hantzopoulos as Account Manager – Building Products.

Mr Hantzopoulos brings more than 25 years of experience and local knowledge to the company, having previously worked in the cabinetmaking, shopfitting, building and stone manufacturing industries in Victoria.

Prior to joining HVG, he managed Maxim Marble in Hallam and Constellation Property Maintenance, where his responsibilities included maintaining existing accounts and developing new customer relationships.

This experience will prove invaluable in his new role as Account Manager – Building Products, as he will be tasked with developing customer relationships and encouraging sales growth of HVG’s extensive range of decorative building products for the architectural, building and construction industries.

“I am looking forward to building long-lasting relationships with customers in Victoria and demonstrating the creative solutions that can be achieved with our cutting-edge range of building products,” said Mr Hantzopoulos.

HVG’s building products portfolio includes the popular CREAstyle and CREAmetal ranges of high pressure laminates, Zenolite – the alternative to glass panels, SmartStone engineered Quartz and Marble, Dibond aluminium composite material and the Seratone lightweight, high-density fibreboards.

David Maltby, Business Manager – Building Products, HVG said Mr Hantzopoulos’ appointment would help ensure the company expanded its building products presence in Victoria.

“Con brings to us not only a strong background in customer management and an enthusiasm for the building products market, but also a wealth of experience and knowledge of the building industry in Victoria,” said Mr Maltby.
