From a Wrestler to a Ninja – Van Heusen asks facebook fans to decide it’s next lab test.

Following the successful September launch of Van Heusen’s TV and print campaign to promote its new sub-brand "Performa", Van Heusen ‘s recent online advertising campaign has launched a facebook and youtube application called the Test Lab at http://www.facebook.com/VanHeusenAustralia

The tongue-in-cheek campaign features video footage of Van Heusen’s Performa suits being put to extreme tests to demonstrate it’s high levels of durability. The Test Lab runs on the Van Heusen Australia Facebook page where a polling section prompt fans to vote runs until the 4th of October 2010 for their favourite test lab stunt. The public will decide between a video ad finale of throwing knives or a nail gun. To date, the suit has been tested by wild dogs, a shredding machine and a ninja.

The campaign for the Performa range is to highlight the cutting edge nano-technologies dedicated to protect the wearer from the everyday hazards of life.

Fans can also take part in a draw via facebook to win $5000 worth of travel vouchers and a weeks worth of Van Heusen Performa including a ‘Travel Suit’ which ends on the 1st of October 2010.
