Visitors to this year's CeBIT ICT tradefair at Sydney Exhibition Centre will be able to tell the organisers exactly what they think when they visit Response Education Services (RES) at the South Australian Stand (N40 in Hall 4).

RES will conduct simultaneous surveys using T-ResQ, the company's wireless real-time multi-site audience polling system.

RES director Dr David Morris says that T-ResQ was initially designed for medical training but has since found a growing demand across the training and education sector, for board meetings, workshops and all forms of remote conferencing. T-ResQ is compliant with the ubiquitous Reply IQ wireless device and fully integrated with Microsoft PowerPoint.

"Before now, there has been no way for Reply IQ users to conduct simultaneous real-time polling for audiences of any size across remote locations," Dr Morris said.

Applications include medical training, mining and board meetings - anywhere that there's a need for multisite meetings or workshops.

RES has completed a feasibility study for T-ResQ at Adelaide University's Medical School and is now trialing the system with medical students based at Adelaide University and the Spencer Gulf Rural Health School at sites including Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Port Augusta and Whyalla.

A Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), Dr Morris has spent the past 10 years developing an innovative medical training system, initially focused on electronic fetal heart monitoring (EFM).

Over that time, the need for a multisite system for audience response soon became apparent, leading to the development of T-ResQ.

"Rural medical schools are a typical example of the applications for T-ResQ," Dr Morris said. "Rural medical students need to have continuous interaction with city-based medical schools. T-ResQ enables all kinds of feedback, multiple choice examinations and surveys, all in real-time."

About About Response Education Services
Response Education Services was founded to develop a training model for medical staff involved in obstetrics, gynaecology and midwifery that would ensure all medical professionals were ‘talking the same language’ in labour wards around the country. Today RES has systemized an online and offline training system for a wide range of medical disciplines. The system can be customized to meet a variety of training needs. In so doing, the company also developed software to enable audience response and polling in real time across multiple sites, greatly enhancing the educational value, research and feedback from the RES systems, while meanwhile being of great benefit to any organisation hosting meetings, workshops or training for groups across several sites.
