PERTH, Western Australia (29 March 2016) - Freelance video editor and compositor Luke Stevenson will be Lush Digital Media’s new head of production.
Luke, who has extensive experience in visual production, post-production, film and television, is a well-known producer, designer and editor in the WA advertising, marketing and television industries. Before going freelance he was a producer at iThink Visual Productions for nearly four years.
He has been freelancing with Lush Digital Media for several years
But chief executive James Lush said his recruitment came at a time of serious growth for the content marketing specialist agency.
“Luke has been a part of the team for four-and-a-half years, but it is fantastic that we have been able to entice him to join us full-time,” he said.
“The breadth of his experience, his attention to detail and his commitment to ensuring every project is 100 per cent right before it leaves the building makes him a fantastic asset to the company.
“He’s a brilliant storyteller and we’re looking forward to him getting more deeply involved in content creation for our partners.”
James said Lush Digital Media was going through a period of rapid growth as Australian and WA brands started to recognise the potential of content marketing.
“It’s a really exciting time for us so it is important to have the best possible team in place going forward,” he said.
Creative director Gavin Carroll said after working closely with Luke for eight years in various roles, it was “a dream come true” to have one of the industry’s best editors and producers officially part of the Lush team.
“We have worked as freelancers together over many years and to now have him as our head of production is a huge asset — not only to Lush Digital Media but to our clients as well,” he said.
