Gift and Homewares Australia (GHA) Members will have access to improved telecommunications benefits after the organisation signed on as an authorised Telstra dealer.

The new GHA Member Benefit was launched at GHA’s Home & Giving July Fair, held at the Sydney Showground 3 - 6 July.

GHA chief executive, Alby Taylor, said GHA’s new status as an authorised Telstra dealer allows the association to pass significant savings on to members through tailored mobile phone and mobile broadband plans.

“Each mobile phone and mobile broadband plan has been created exclusively for GHA Members, taking into account the preferences and requirements of businesses of all sizes in our industry,” he said.

“The offer represents excellent value for money and I am sure they will be of huge benefit to our Members.”

Mr Taylor said GHA chose to partner with Telstra due to the network’s extensive infrastructure and comprehensive national coverage.

“Because our Members come from all over Australia we wanted a network provider who would provide the same coverage and service regardless of whether the user was in Sydney, or a small town in Western Australia,” he said.

To ensure consistency in service, GHA has introduced Michael Gordon, a dedicated business development manager who will offer advice and tailor products and services so they suit individual Members.

“Bringing the Telstra service in-house will allow for better delivery, lower rates and overall improved service for our Members,” said Mr Taylor.
Each plan provides strong value to both small and large business, with benefits including free and unlimited intra-account calling for phones on the same style of plan, and per-second billing so Members only pay for exactly what they use.
There are two main styles of plans available to GHA Members. They are Telstra Mobile Plus Plans and Telstra Next G™ Cap Plans.
For those who like certainty, the Mobile Plus Plans offer:
• Savings (off standard Telstra pricing) from 37% - 57% - that is, extra talk time per plan value;
• 29% - 45% more value from Telstra bonus options;
• Voicemail included as standard;
• Call rates start as low as 8.5¢ per 30 seconds, including calls that are outside of the agreed plan value;
• Unused credits to be shared amongst the fleet;
• Loyalty bonus if you bring your own phone.
For those who like cap plans, the Telstra Next G™ Cap plans offer:
• Generous caps with more talk time when compared to other providers for the same value plan;
• Simple to understand allowances that are always accessible (other providers have very elaborate terms and conditions);
• No hidden erosions to cap value like 30 second billing blocks or bonus options that can only be accessed under certain circumstances.
