San Francisco, CA - ANZA Technology Network launches its 2010 Gateway to the US program July 13-27 with a series of free one-hour webinars for Australian entrepreneurs and CEOs of small-to-medium enterprises interested in US expansion opportunities. Three topics of highest priority to Australians – making trusted US in-market connections, understanding how to navigate the US market’s complexities and financing a strategic US go-to-market plan will be covered.

All webinars begin at 11 am AEST and run for one-hour:

13 July 2010: Expanding Your Business to the US: Myths and Realities
21 July 2010: Sizing Up the US Market: Facts and Fears
27 July 2010: Funding Your Business: Options and Opportunities

Speakers include: Doron Ben-Meir, CEO, Commercialisation Australia; Dr. Larry Marshall, Managing Director, Southern Cross Venture Partners; Susan Hailey, Partner, CTPartners; Sidney Minassian, Founder and Chief Liaison, Liaise Inc. and Jennifer Zanich, General Manager, Xumii Services.

“These webinars will be fast-paced, fact-filled and address many of the myths and misunderstandings about the US market. There will be plenty of time for audience questions,” said Viki Forrest, CEO ANZA Technology Network, who will moderate the webinars.

The ANZA Gateway to the US program consists of the three free one-hour webinars, followed by a one-day introductory workshop that includes market analysis and activities designed to craft an effective message for US investors and technology executives. The workshops are held in Australian capital cities from August 23-Septemeber 1. Companies can then take part in three online consultations to prepare for the Gateway to the US Executive Summit in Silicon Valley, October 25-27.
