Ben Hansen, US television host and lead investigator on SyFy channel's ‘Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files’ will be meeting locals and hunting for ghosts in Midland on March 8th 2016.
Local business Shanks Pony Tours will sponsor the event, which includes dinner, meet & greet and a VIP paranormal investigation, at the Midland Town Hall, which is said to be one of the top 5 most haunted buildings in Western Australia.
”We are thrilled that Ben Hansen is coming to discover the paranormal activity that we regularly experience,” said Shanks Pony Tours founder Patty Williams.
“We started tours in Midland Town Hall in 2013 after four years of research and nearly a year of sleep-overs studying paranormal goings on in the historical building.
“We have now matched more than 72 spirits with the help of West Coast Paranormal in the early days and other paranormal groups, with historical data,” Ms Williams said.
“Over many years staff from cleaners to Councillors have reported activities such as footsteps, bell ringing and moving furniture by some of the ghosts that have made this venue their safe haven.
“We are really excited to be conducting a paranormal investigation with Ben Hansen on his first ever visit to WA,” Ms Williams said.
In 2015, Shanks Pony Tours won the Quality Customer Service Award in the Swan Chamber of Commerce Awards.
