Ahmadiyya Muslim Association has registered 20 Clean-Up Sites Nationwide


Ahmadiyya Muslim Associations Australia will enthusiastically take part in ‘Clean-Up Australia Day 2016’ and more than 2,000 Ahmadi Muslim members are expected to take part in the clean-up initiative in all major states and territories of Australia. The Association has registered 20 clean-up sites all over the country. Nationwide clean-up sites distribution is as follows:


NSW: (6) Clean Up Sites VIC: (4) Clean Up Sites SA: (3) Clean Up Sites
ACT: (1) Clean Up Site NT: (1) Clean Up Site WA: (1) Clean Up Site
QLD: (3) Clean Up Sites TAS: (1) Clean Up Site  


National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia, Mr. I. H. Kauser said:


“Each year hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims take part in Clean Up Australia Day activity. Islam teaches us to be mindful of cleanliness on individual and on societal levels. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has said that cleanliness is part of faith and that is why it is every Muslim’s responsibility to keep their surroundings neat and clean.” He said, “Clean-Up Australia is such a great cause that every Muslim living in Australia must be part of it.”
