SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 15, 2016) -  NSFOCUS IB today announced that network security specialist Attley Ng has joined the company as Senior VP and GM of the Asia-Pacific market. From his base of operations in Singapore, Mr. Ng will take primary responsibility for all aspects of NSFOCUS IB's operations -- including sales, channel, service and related strategies -- in that region, where the company is already experiencing strong growth.

"The Asia-Pacific market is exciting for us in every respect -- it's dynamic, innovative and filled with opportunities for technology providers that can customize the right products and services to meet specific needs," said Allan Thompson, COO of NSFOCUS IB. "That's why we're delighted to have an executive of Attley's caliber join our team. He has built an excellent track record overseeing the development of enterprise solutions for this critical discipline, and growing revenue with each initiative. He is exactly the right person to help NSFOCUS IB achieve even greater success in this critical region, and we welcome him to the company."

Throughout his varied career in enterprise technology, Mr. Ng has led teams that produced optimal results for the bottom line. He was most recently Vice President at Tenable Network Security, which offers solutions for continuous network monitoring & vulnerability management. Before that, he spent more than five years at Arbor Networks, which provides DDoS and advanced threat protection backed by threat intelligence. Previously, he spent almost four years as President of Enterasys Networks, a provider of network hardware and software that was spun off from Cabletron Systems. Earlier, Mr. Ng was a Managing Director at network conglomerates Lucent Technologies and AT&T. In that capacity he helped grow revenues many times over -- to $200 million during his tenure.

"I've watched the Asia-Pacific network technology market explode over the past decade, and I believe it's hungry for innovative solutions of the kind developed by NSFOCUS," Mr. Ng noted. "I'm excited to join the strong management team here, and I look forward to doing my part to grow the customer base and strengthen network defenses for companies throughout this region."
