Halifax Vogel Group (HVG) today announced the appointment of Kevin Laws as Account Manager – Building Products in Victoria.
Originally from New Zealand, he joins HVG following a 7-year stint with London-based marble and stone manufacturer Stone Productions.
“My primary role with Stone Productions was to drive sales of engineered and natural stone to architects, interior designers and kitchen companies and I look forward to utilising the knowledge and experience that I gained in this position in my new role at HVG,” said Mr Laws.
As Account Manager – Building Products, Mr Laws will be tasked with developing customer relationships and encouraging sales growth of HVG’s extensive range of decorative building products for the architectural, building and construction industries.
HVG’s building products portfolio includes the popular CREAstyle and CREAmetal ranges of high pressure laminates, Zenolite – the alternative to glass panels, SmartStone engineered Quartz and Marble, Dibond aluminium composite material and the Seratone lightweight, high-density fibreboards.
The Victorian State Manager of Halifax Vogel Group said Mr Laws would be a valuable asset in ensuring the company expanded its building products presence in Victoria.
“Kevin joins us from the UK and brings with him a strong background in sales and an enthusiasm for the building products market,” he said.
“Victorian customers have come to expect Halifax Vogel Group to provide quality products, informed advice and competitive pricing at all times and the appointment of someone with Kevin’s industry experience will ensure we continue to meet these expectations.”
