Franchisor/ Tradesman from Regional Australia becomes NextGen winner
FCF Fire and Electrical is proud to be one of the world’s best with the FCF network named one of the top 20 franchises in the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) NextGen in Franchising Global Competition.
FCF Managing Director Jacob Foster received the great honour on behalf of the network, which was established after Jacob was unable to find an Australian fire and electrical company that provided its customers with the great service he believed he could deliver. So in 2008, he decided to set up his own in Hervey Bay.
“I’d see firsthand the fees and charges that multinational companies put on clients and wanted to provide a service which was both professional and affordable,” Jacob said.
The NextGen award celebrates young innovators and is fiercely contested. FCF Fire and Electrical’s nomination was supported by The Franchise Council of Australia, the peak body for the $144 Billion Australian franchising sector.
Jacob Foster said that locals will further benefit from having a world class, forward thinking business just around the corner.
“I am more than pleased to know that as a regional company we are able to be noticed on a global scale and to be one of two Australian representatives. This will help cement confidence and faith in our brand and to show franchisees that they have made the right decision in being a part of FCF,” Jacob said.
“This is an exciting time for the whole FCF team. On a professional level, franchise industry recognition means that all our hard work in the last five years has been validated and demonstrates that we are heading in the right direction. I look forward to the support that we will receive in the following year with ongoing mentoring which will assist in further establishing good business principles,” he added.
FCF Fire and Electrical Franchisor, Jacob Foster said the win and global recognition of the network’s commitment to excellence was inspiring.
“I’m very proud of the FCF group and we will continue to deliver quality and affordable services and support. All of our Franchisees are licensed in specialty fields and our team undergoes regular training to stay up-to-date with the latest safety industry standards and regulations, as well as current developments in the fire protection and electrical industries.” Jacob Foster said.
