CommLab India has engaged resident learning consultants in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia to ensure better service to its customers. Dr. Terry Heiney will be handling the US and Canada regions, Dr. Micheael Reakes will be responsible for the UK and Europe regions, and Dr. Mary Bochan will represent Australia.

The most important factor in designing effective learning solutions has to do with how well a customer’s business challenges are understood and how creatively a solution is offered that not only satisfies the training need but also results in substantial savings in terms of cost, effort and time for the customer.

Understanding customers’ requirements gets further complicated and challenging when the e-learning partner is positioned overseas; barriers of time, culture and communication creep in.

Even though CommLab has been developing custom e-learning solutions to global organizations very successfully for the last 15 years, it was felt that certain additional initiatives had to be taken to further enhance the quality of service. With increased awareness and acceptance of e-learning in organizations, e-learning customers/stakeholders today are quite different in their approach and expectations than the earlier ones. They expect a more holistic approach to training and e-learning from their e-learning partners. In short, they want more for less - to get the full advantage of e-learning and obtain a positive ROI by blending different aspects of technology with more traditional methods like classroom training.

It is for this reason that CommLab has recruited seasoned and highly qualified professionals with decades of industry experience to function as its resident learning consultants so that understanding customers’ requirements becomes deeper and the design solutions will benefit from the inputs provided by the consultants’ decades of experience.

"We are indeed fortunate to attract top-notch professionals like Dr. Terry Heiney (USA), Dr. Michael Reakes (UK & Europe) and Dr. Mary Bochan (Australia) to join our team. We are already beginning to see the results; we have added 9 new customers this year and are looking forward to add more, says RK Prasad, CEO of CommLab India.

The inclusion of resident learning consultants in CommLab’s team would provide clients with local quality learning solutions and ensure timely delivery, the Indian advantage of cost, and above all superior customer service.
