WORLD FIRST UNVEILED BY EDIBLE BLOOMS AT WESTFIELD MARION

Adelaide, September 2015 – Every chocolate lover and child’s dream will be realised when Edible Blooms brings to life a world first with The Chocolate Garden.  A full scale walk through landscaped garden, hand crafted from various elements of chocolate; will be unveiled at Westfield Marion on Monday 28th September, 2015.

Kelly Baker-Jamieson and Abbey Baker, owners of Edible Blooms are self-confessed “Chocoholics” and have been dreaming of this unique and deliciously lavish idea for some years. Known for their out of the box gifting ideas, the Edible Blooms team is regarded for their quirky approach to consumer marketing.  The Chocolate Garden will be their largest investment to date, and the ultimate celebration to mark their 10 Year Anniversary in 2015.

Why a chocolate garden?  Kelly Baker-Jamieson says… “We wanted to transform the visual WOW of Edible Blooms gifting to deliver a world first.  Creating a grand scale chocolate garden allows us to share this experience with our customers.”

Well known South Australian Gardening Presenter, Sophie Thomson from Sophie’s Patch  was approached by the Edible Blooms team to plan The Chocolate Garden and enthusiastically agreed to the opportunity to provide a design with the authenticity of a garden but with a very tasty twist.

Also on board to provide the critical ingredient - are long term partners of Edible Blooms’ and  chocolate experts ‘Chocolatier’ and ‘Lindt’ whom have supplied the chocolate in numerous forms, and share in the excitement of the project by crafting hundreds of kilos and thousands of individual chocolates which will adorn the 10m x 6m garden site.  Together with local South Australian chocolatiers, Bracegirdle’s will be showcasing their artisan skills with a very unique twist on a specific section of the garden.

In partnership with Westfield Marion, Edible Blooms whom annually engage with a charitable organisation to give back to the community,  will support the children focus charity Cora Barclay Centre, a South Australian charity that support the needs of children whom are deaf or hearing impaired and their families.  Visitors will be encouraged to support via a gold coin donation to raise funds for the Cora Barclay Centre while The Chocolate Garden is open to the public.

Launching on Monday 28th September, 2015 , visiting this world first attraction is an ideal school holidays experience to entertain the children,  however The Edible Blooms Chocolate Garden will unquestionably appeal across the ages; after all who doesn’t deserve a tasty treat every once in a while.
