Patent Protects Fundamental IP Related to Cell Suspension Preparation Technique and Device

(ASX: AVH), (OTCQX: AVMXY), a regenerative medicine company specializing in the treatment of wounds and skin defects, today announced that one of its European patents has been validated in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.
Patent EP 2 343 079 covers the broad use of the company's cell suspension preparation device, ReCell®, and relates to a simple, rapid and cost-effective technique for grafting cells. In particular, the patent covers a device for preparing a suspension of cells using a tissue sample obtained from a donor site.
