Tuesday, May 18th, 2010 - Naturally Better, by Kristen Morrison

Naturally Better is the first book by Melbourne mother Kristen Morrison, and the launch is being held online.

“If someone had told me a few years ago that I would leave the fashion industry and write a book about Natural Health for children, I would have laughed!” Kristen says. But when her third child was born with Down syndrome, she immediately began to research options to help him achieve his best – naturally.

“Our first paediatrician told me not to waste money on Omega 3’s – ‘buy a big TV’, he said, ‘because life will be rough from now on’. This was not good enough for my son, so I started my own research and found a wealth of resources including supplement programs, natural therapies and home-based systems which parents can run to help any child become fit, strong, literate and healthy. At 31/2, Gryffin is rarely sick, very strong and incredibly bright. I’ve written my book to share this research with other parents, and to give hope to those who seek improvement for their kids – through natural methods.

“This book is an invaluable source for anyone wanting to tackle and conquer the myriad of challenges that our kids face. This family’s journey reminds us that we have the power to be the masters of our destiny and we instinctively know that there is much we can do that is not necessarily the road most travelled.” Deborra-Lee & Hugh Jackman
“When Natural Therapies are mixed with a mother’s love and a positive attitude, well, the result is the miracle that is Gryffin Morrison.” Janella Purcell, Biggest Loser Nutritionist

“Beautiful photos of Gryffin document the remarkable improvements he has made in his development.” Dr Jane Williams, General Manager Research & Education,Toddler Kindy GymbaROO.

“Our child’s life has been completely changed by this book. The improvements we have seen already are just incredible. We are so happy to have found it.” David & Melissa Avola

“Bridging the chasm that separates theory from what actually works is a fantastic achievement.” Dr. Peter Holsman, General Practitioner

‘Australian children are facing an epidemic of neuro-biological disease driven by nutritional deficiencies and toxicity. Naturally Better offers parents hope with real healthcare solutions that can help with ADHD, Autism, learning delay and optimal health for every child.’
Leslie Embersits, Director, Mindd Foundation

The Virtual Book Launch is being broadcast at 8pm, Tuesday May 25th at the Naturally Better Kids facebook page.

Naturally Better can be ordered online and will be available in June where good books are found.
