Print readership of the regional daily and weekly newspapers across Victoria has declined, the latest Roy Morgan Regional Newspaper Readership results for the 24 months to March 2015 show.

Total readership across the Mighty V newspaper network in regional Victoria and southern NSW has declined. The six regional dailies in Albury, Ballarat, Bendigo, Latrobe Valley, Shepparton and Warrnambool have each lost readers. Overall, weekday readership of Mighty V titles fell 10.3% to 208,000.

Readership of Saturday editions declined 10.8% to 198,000. The Albury Border Mail lost a fifth of its readers over the period, but the Bendigo Advertiser and Sunraysia Daily held steady.

Among other regional weeklies, only the Bendigo Weekly increased its readership, up 3.9% to 53,000 to overtake the Albury Border Mail as the most-read regional paper in Victoria.
