This year Australian healthcare vendor PowerHealth Solutions is celebrating 20 years of excellence in driving healthcare efficiency.
The company has grown from a one-man-band back in 1995 to the significant workforce it is today with worldwide offices and clients throughout Australia, New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Middle East. Originating as a consulting firm, the company moved into product development in 2000 through a Commonwealth R&D grant and released its first product PowerPerformance Manager (PPM) in 2002, which has since become the dominant costing and revenue system in Australia.
Today PowerHealth specialises in enterprise billing, activity based costing & revenue, and patient safety solutions, which are adopted by public and private hospitals around the world, with the company specialising in large scale implementations at a State and National level.
As the company celebrates its 20th anniversary, it is embarking on a new phase of expansion towards further growth. PowerHealth Solutions' products are growing strongly internationally as healthcare industries around the world focus on delivering better quality care at lower cost. Using smart technology, PHS overcomes the complexities and overwhelmingly huge data issues faced by the health industry to simplify healthcare management and allow hospitals to focus on the delivery of care.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Power has just returned from the Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management (OPM) program and he is energised to further expand the business internationally.
