Opening to the public on 24th April exclusively at Shop 3, 286 Toorak Road South Yarra, and through its website — http://hachi-melbourne.com.au —Hachi will introduce a wide range of accessory products for dogs: jackets, leads, carry bags, collars, doggie pushers in the latest fabrics and collars, Swarovski studded collars and leads to complete the ensemble’s.
Hachi will also unveil its latest range of products straight from Tokyo that will enhance the personality and individuality of your dog at the store opening.
Just as interesting as the Hachi product range, is the story behind the company name. Hachi the movie was about an Akita breed of dog born in Tokyo in 1923. The story is well known and was told in 2009 movie with Richard Gere & Joan Allen and was international success.
Whilst the extensive Hachi range conveys the upmarket image that has made it a success in Tokyo and New York, its driving force and owner, Takashi Fujita, an avid dog lover of two dogs (Sally and Abbie) he has been quick to size up the dog accessories business in Australia, and see the unique niche for the Hachi collection.
Press Opening will be Wednesday 22nd April at 3/ 286 Toorak Rd, South Yarra , the doggie red carpet parade will commence at 5.30pm complete with traditional Japanese dog breeds followed by an evening of dog fashion with a parade at 6.30pm, celebrity dogs and of course the best Sushi and Sake for the the dog lover owners.
