Cellebrite, the leader in mobile data forensics extraction, decoding and analysis solutions, is extending immediate access to mobile forensic data to field personnel with the launch of its UFED Field Series. Platform agnostic, this frontline software solution allows officers to simply connect a mobile device to the new UFED InField Kiosk, in-car workstation, laptop or tablet and conduct a forensically sound, logical extraction of device texts, call logs, and emails. The innovative time saving solution allows users to quickly view, qualify and act on potential evidence -- all while ensuring strict access control and data management.

"To serve and protect has become a complex business, and the need for collaboration and information sharing across functions, departments and agencies has turned criminal investigations into a team pursuit," said Ron Serber, Co-CEO Cellebrite. "Device backlogs are challenging agency resources and adding precious time and significant costs to criminal investigations. The faster field-based personnel can qualify, act on and share actionable data, the faster criminals can be taken off the street."

UFED FIELD SERIES

The UFED Field solution components unify workflows between the field and lab, reducing backlogs by enabling networked collaboration and analysis across the entire investigative team. This new suite of software and hardware solutions enables personnel at every level to efficiently gather, process and act on the critical data that will help speed investigations. When a crime occurs, officers can apply real-time insights to a case, along with the qualified mobile data evidence to support it, allowing lab examiners to immediately focus on more in-depth data extractions and analysis.

A simplified, intuitive interface allows users to:

-- Efficiently extract and decode logical data from over 14,500 mobile
    devices, SIM cards or USBs

-- Analyze real-time mobile data, including call logs, contacts, calendar,
SMS, MMS, media files, app data, locations, chats, and passwords

-- Automatically detect devices and provide one-click password unlock

-- Perform quick searches and filter data based on date, time,
communication type, or person, and view events in a timeline or map-
    based view

-- Manage data access control with multi-level permission management
    settings

-- Share statistics, reports and raw mobile data with other authorized
personnel or send to a predefined location across a local, secure
    network

The UFED Field Series includes two distinct workflow options -- preview/qualify and intelligence gathering/reporting - and will soon be available on a number of form factors, the first of which is a self-service kiosk.

     UFED Field IX

The UFED Field IX delivers immediate triage and preview capability for
mobile device evidence in the field. Powered by UFED InField, users can
quickly narrow data to a specific time frame and/or location, isolating
evidence to the kind of targeted scope required by most courts of law.
Field personnel can immediately access, qualify and act on relevant
data from their car or remote location for faster, more informed
     decision making in the field.

     UFED InField Kiosk

Leveraging the UFED Field IX platform, the ruggedized UFED InField
Kiosk can be located at a police station, border check point or
airport. It allows field personnel at every level to perform
forensically sound logical extractions of mobile device text messages,
call logs, emails, etc. and act on potential evidence. The easy-to use,
fully networked tool allows users to collect, preview and share data
with other key stakeholders quickly and efficiently with minimal
     training.

     UFED Field ILX

     Cellebrite's field-based solution - coming in late 2015 -- brings the
UFED InField and Link Analysis tools together to allow agency field
personnel to quickly collect mobile device data, export it to a common
database and then compare it against other data sources. Built-in link
analysis capability gives officers an immediate visual of common
connections, a critical capability to gather and synthesize the
intelligence needed to support time-sensitive investigations like gang,
     domestic violence or drug-related crimes.

"Now that mobile device evidence has reached critical mass, agencies have no choice but to evaluate current processes. Device backlogs - of even days or weeks - put criminal cases in jeopardy," added Serber. "By enabling simplified data extraction and analysis capabilities in the field, the UFED Field Series delivers new and improved workflows and the actionable intelligence necessary to focus forensic examinations, reduce device backlogs and shorten case cycle times."
