Monday, May 3rd, 2010 - Integeo

Spatial business intelligence pioneer Integeo will demonstrate its new tools for embedding Google Maps and Google Earth into business reporting systems at a webinar on May 13.

The webinar will feature the latest updates on the US Army's implementation of Map Intelligence for nation-wide recruitment and tracking of recruits.

Army recruitment offices throughout the US use the Google spatial suite within Map Intelligence to maximize recruiters' efficiency.

Integeo’s latest webinar demonstrates examples of the power of spatial visualization within business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, OBIEE, and Microsoft Excel.

"We have worked closely with the US Army for almost five years and in the process developed the most feature-rich, easy to use services available for embedding location and other valuable data in business intelligence tools," said Integeo CEO Peter Rossiter. "Map Intelligence can now be used in any BI tool - the possibilities for decision makers are limitless."

The new tools include intuitive navigation, map drag with hand, Google ladder and rose and toggle for map, satellite and terrain, all within the Map Intelligence interface.

"We have also included a dynamic link between the BI tool and Google Earth so BI updates are reflected automatically in Google Earth, greatly increasing flexibility," Mr Rossiter added.

"Map Intelligence provides the ability for users to dynamically generate points on the map from address records in their BI or Excel data, by seamlessly using Google for geocoding and passing the co-ordinates back to the Map Intelligence interface for spatial visualisation."

Integeo's next release will include a search capability that can query both the spatial analytics generated from the BI tool and the underlying Google map used for the background mapping context, all within the Map Intelligence interface.

Book now to attend the webinar "Embedding Google Maps and Google Earth into your Business Reporting Environment" on May 13. More dates to be announced.
