Winestains Barossa is taking a giant leap forward and moving their retail business online with a new website. The new website will enable Winestains to reach a greater audience by allowing shoppers Australia-wide to purchase their renowned handcrafted designs.

What originally began as a micro-business with father and daughter team, Peter and Kristal Ruchs, has now developed into a flourishing business that is highly regarded within the local Barossa community. Now Winestains Barossa is expanding and growing their business, taking their unique repurposed wine barrel designs to the national stage.

“We have spent the last three years working hard to establish our brand and launch our designs to the public. And the response and support has been overwhelming,” said Kristal.

“This positive response, and the fact we have established a strong presence, has prompted us to take advantage of the online retail world and launch our new website (www.winestains.com.au).

“The new site will provide shoppers Australia-wide access to our diverse range of handcrafted aged wine barrel designs. We are excited about this new direction and look forward to establishing a new client base across Australia.”

Winestains continues to grow its presence with the designs now stocked in multiple stores across South Australia. They are also working on developing wine barrel designs, co-branding with larger companies yet to be named.

Both Peter and Kristal are excited to be working on these new projects that showcase what can be achieved by repurposing and recycling old discarded wine barrels.

“We look forward to growing and continuing the great relationships we have with our customers, particularly through this new online store. We anticipate the website will give the consumer a full understanding and personal connection behind the Winestains brand and the processes that go into creating our unique products,” said Kristal.

Winestains

Winestains is an innovative and creative business specialising in the recycling and repurposing of aged wine barrels. The result is a truly unique range of products. All Winestains designs originate from 100% recycled wine barrels, which are sourced from local wineries. Winestains have managed to repurpose unwanted, weathered wine barrels from local wineries and turn them into stunning, timeless modern designs.

Winestains began as a hobby in 2011, and before long turned into a beautiful business for father and daughter team, Peter and Kristal. From selling goods at local markets to being the stock of choice in many retail outlets,

Inspired by a deep love of great wine and brilliant design, Winestains designs are unique, contemporary and created with love and care. Peter and Kristal reuse and recycle every part of the wine barrel, even the shavings and saw dust. Winestains prides itself on quality craftsmanship that is handcrafted, not mass produced which is why no two Winestains products are ever the same! That’s the beauty of working with aged oak wine barrels, the barrels are unique in their own right, which then translates into the finished Winestains design.

Both Peter and Kristal, believe that objects that are handmade or upcycled have quality like no other. This is the Winestains commitment.
