EFM Health Clubs is delighted to have opened its 20th health club in Victoria and 66th nationally in October 2014.
The new health club is located at Billanook College and is the second owned by Ramsey Nasser who in 2014 was a finalist in the Franchise Council of Australia Excellence in Franchising Awards through his management of his EFM Health Club at Ringwood.
EFM Health Clubs is also looking to expand into Western Australia with clubs opening south and east of Perth in early 2015. This expansion is part of an aggressive strategy to have a presence in every state and territory by 2016.
New owners Peter Rohde, who has announced his resignation from the Port Adelaide Football Club to take up the position of CEO of EFM Health Clubs in January and Andrew Perry, formally of VIP Home Services, plan on providing every EFM Health Club franchisee with great service and a business model that allows them to live the lifestyle they seek.
The pair have recently taken over the day to day operations of EFM Health Clubs having purchased the business in December 2013, with the planned departure of former MD Matt Lindblom who has become a franchisee with EFM Health Clubs in his new club at Marion.
The future looks bright for the 4 time BRW Fast Franchise awarded franchise network with a spate of new locations set to open in 2015 across the country, to go along with solid group revenue growth from the past 5 years.
